在对折页机组进行维护保养时，需要注意以下事项：由于折页机组的污染主要是由纸灰造成的，因此在生产中应及时清理纸灰（用吸尘器），并用防静电抹布擦试光电开关反光镜；及时清理刀座，更换裁纸刀，检查并补齐挂报针；检查裁切垫条，视其使用情况更换折纸刀；每周清理叼报夹爪，检查横向、纵向打孔装置，检查润滑油路是否有破损，并定期清理盘型凸轮，把纸灰清理干净；为便于维护保养，折报滚筒的直径调节装置已设计成外置式，只需每月检查一次并加润滑油即可。

该机型配置的是MEG公司的DUAL-DRYTNV型天然气烘干机，其内置有3段区域燃烧器，需要配套使用装有橡皮布自动清洗装置和冷却装置的印刷机组、带有渐进式启动功能的循环电机、燃烧器、“双面干燥”喷嘴等。

The model is equipped with MEG's DUAL-DRYTNV type natural gas dryer with 3 regional burners built in. It needs to be equipped with a printing set equipped with a rubber cloth automatic cleaning device and a cooling device, a cyclic motor with a progressive starting function, a burner and a "double dry dry" nozzle.

由于该烘干装置是利用天然气所产生的高温烘干热固型油墨中的溶剂成分，所以安全防爆尤为重要，应保证所有设备操作符合安全操作规程，设备的任何零部件出现损坏都应立即维修，不能让设备带病作业；烘干机旁永久放置2个能正常使用的灭火器，并定期更换；烘干机周围禁止堆放易燃易爆物品。

此外，需要注意的是，如果生产过程中纸带出现断裂，在重新启动烘干机前，应仔细检查烘干机中是否有纸张残留，若有，应小心将其取出，同时千万注意避免被烫伤。

从烘干机中出来的纸带温度极高，必须经过冷却装置降低纸带温度，并硬化纸带上的油墨。另外，冷却装置还可作为牵拉装置使用，用以产生和保持印刷机组和折页机组纸带运行方向所需要的纸带张力。该机型所用的冷却装置的主体结构由5个冷却辊和2套压紧辊构成。值得注意的是，冷却循环水的温度要恒定，冷却辊每周都要清洗，压紧辊每周都要精心调整间隙。
