水墨印刷的网点扩大问题及对策

大家都知道水墨印刷中的网点扩大比UV墨严重,这是什么原因造成的?下图所示是同一个操作者在同一机型的印刷机上使用同一张印版分别采用UV油墨和水墨印刷的三成平网样张。从网点形态可明显看出,水墨网点扩大较UV油墨严重得多,究其原因,决定因素是黏度。UV油墨和水性油墨的黏度不在一个等级上,相差1~2倍。
As you all know, the dot gain in ink and wash printing is more serious than that of UV ink. What is the reason for this? Below is the same operator using the same plate respectively with three flat net proofs UV ink and ink printing in the printing machine of the same type. It can be seen from the dot form that the ink dot expansion is much more serious than that of UV ink. The reason is viscosity. UV ink and water-based ink viscosity is not in a grade, 1~2 times difference.

那么可否采用高黏度的水墨来解决网点扩大问题呢?
So, can we use high viscosity ink to solve the dot enlargement problem?
按道理,油墨采用怎样的工作黏度,应该取决于印刷机的上墨单元结构。那么在相同的印刷单元上,使用UV墨可以是高黏度的,使用水墨为什么就一定要是低黏度呢?下图是采用高黏度水墨印刷的175线/英寸1%网点平网和150线/英寸1%网点平网,其水墨黏度比UV墨高了一倍。可见,水墨也可以采用高黏度。
According to the truth, what kind of working viscosity the ink should use depends on the inking unit structure of the printing press. So, in the same printing unit, the use of UV ink can be high viscosity, the use of ink must be low viscosity? This is the 175 line / inch high viscosity ink printing dot 1% flat screen and 150 line / 1% inch flat screen dot, the ink viscosity ratio of UV meukow doubled. Visible, ink can also use high viscosity.

但水墨印刷能否采用高黏度水墨,要视上墨系统的结构而定。采用带有着墨辊结构的柔印单元(如下图),可以使用高黏度水墨,而采用封闭式刮刀结构的柔印单元,就不可以使用高黏度水墨。
But whether the ink printing can use high viscosity ink or not depends on the structure of the ink system. With a flexo unit roller structure (below), you can use high viscosity ink, and the closed unit flexo printing scraper structure, can not use high viscosity ink.
总而言之,水墨印刷时导致网点扩大有三个原因:
In a word, there are three reasons for dot gain in ink and water printing:
制版时产生的光学网点扩大;
The enlargement of optical dot produced during plate making;
印刷时压力过大引起的网点机械扩张;
Dot mechanical expansion caused by excessive pressure during printing;
油墨无法在承印材料上朝下渗透而引起的墨点向四周延伸扩张。而控制网点扩大的关键在于调节油墨的黏度。
Penetration of ink ink cannot be caused to extend around the expansion in the substrate down. The key to control dot gain is to adjust the viscosity of the ink.
