大多数印品既有实地、线条，又有连续调图像。为满足各种印品的需求，用户决不能采取柔印机上有几个印刷单元就配几根网纹辊的做法。以窄幅机组式柔印机为例，目前国内引进的多为6+1式，即6个色组专供多色印刷，最后一个机组既可印刷又可进行UV上光。

在使用过程中，某个网纹辊在印刷机上的位置取决於具体的印件，不同的印件，网纹辊的位置也不同，因此印刷时经常要调换网线辊。目前窄幅机采用的多为实心钢制网纹辊，非常重，装御网纹辊时要注意避免将网纹辊的表面盖碰到其它金属物品上面。因为陶瓷涂层很薄，一经碰撞很容易造成永久性损坏。在印刷和清洗机器过程中，应避免油墨在网纹辊上乾结，要采用水基油墨生产厂家推荐的专门洗涤剂，采用不钢刷刷洗，要保证清洗得干净、彻底。并养成经常用高倍放大镜观察网纹辊网穴的习惯，一旦发现油墨沉积到网穴底部并有逐渐增多的趋势，应及时清洗。上述方法若不奏效，可采用超声波或喷砂等处理方法处理，但必须在网纹辊生产厂家的指导下进行。

在正常的使用维修条件下，不必担心网纹辊的磨损问题，传墨系统中易磨损的部件主要是刮墨刀，与之相比，网纹辊陶瓷涂层的磨损可以说是微乎其微。网纹辊轻微磨损后，墨层会变薄。

印刷网线数与网纹辊的网线数有什么关系

在许多介绍柔版印刷技术的文章中，都将印刷网线数与网纹辊网线数的比例定为1∶3.5或1∶4。根据实践经验及对美国柔版印刷技术协会（FTA）近几年评出的获奖产品的分析，笔者认为这一数值应再高一些，大约为1∶4.5或1∶5，对於个别精细印品，可能这一比例还要更高。原因在於用柔版印刷机印刷层次版时最难解决的问题是网点扩大，选用网线数较高的网纹辊，墨层则较薄，网点扩大变形比较容易得到控制。印刷时若发现墨色不够浓时，可选用色浓度较高的一种水基油墨，以保证印品的质量。
